IJERMSH editorial policies ensure academic integrity, transparency, and the highest standards of scholarly publishing.
IJERMSH maintains a strict, zero-tolerance stance on plagiarism. Every submitted manuscript is checked using Turnitin plagiarism detection software, covering both textual similarity and AI-generated content. Papers with a combined Similarity + AI score under 10% proceed directly to publication. Papers scoring above 10% are returned to the author for mandatory review and revision before they can be reconsidered. Self-plagiarism and recycled text from an author's own previously published work are evaluated under the same standard.
IJERMSH is a fully open-access journal under a Creative Commons license. Every published paper is freely available online immediately upon publication — permanently, with no subscription, paywall, or reader access fee of any kind, anywhere in the world. Authors retain copyright of their work while granting IJERMSH the right to publish, archive, and distribute it. Open access ensures maximum visibility, citation potential, and reach for every author's research. The journal is funded through Article Processing Charges (APC) paid by authors only upon acceptance — see the APC / Fees page for current rates.
All listed authors must have: (1) Made substantial contributions to conception, design, or data analysis. (2) Drafted or critically revised the manuscript. (3) Approved the final version. (4) Agreed to be accountable. Gift authorship, ghost authorship, and purchased authorship are strictly prohibited.
IJERMSH may retract published papers if clear evidence of fabricated or falsified data, plagiarism, or duplicate publication is discovered. Retracted papers remain visible with a clear retraction notice.
Authors must disclose all financial, professional, or personal relationships that could influence their work. Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where conflicts exist.
IJERMSH encourages authors to make research data publicly available where possible. Authors should include a data availability statement in their manuscript.
