IJERMSH maintains a strict, zero-tolerance stance on plagiarism and AI-generated content in submitted manuscripts.
Every manuscript submitted to IJERMSH is screened using Turnitin plagiarism detection software, covering both textual similarity against published sources and AI-generated content detection.
IJERMSH evaluates a manuscript's combined Similarity Score + AI-Generated Content Score from its Turnitin report:
Recycling substantial text from an author's own previously published work is evaluated under the same 10% standard as plagiarism from any other source. Proper self-citation is required wherever prior work is built upon.
If plagiarism or undisclosed AI-generated content is discovered after publication, IJERMSH will investigate following COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) guidelines and may retract the paper, with a clear retraction notice retained on the published record.
